My soulmate Supratim was a passionate wildlife photographer. He inspired me to take this birdwatching hobby seriously around 2013. We have been nature lovers since our childhood, though we didn’t know any bird names. That time I didn’t know how to start birdwatching. Now we have so many Facebook groups or other social media help around for new bird lovers but in my time I couldn’t figure out from where should I start. I only bought a binocular and started focusing on the trees around. That time Me and my husband visited many weekend birding spots in and around Kolkata. I have decided to do an ornithology course from Bombay Natural History Society, Mumbai to know something about birds. I wanted to take this hobby seriously. After that one year course, I came to know many things about nature and conservation. not having discussions about birds or butterflies or dragonflies etc. We have started writing blogs and creating videos focussing on nature to spread more awareness.
