3) A Hotel that had a very good restaurant
Food is one main objective of travel. If we didn’t get good enough food, our travel will be spoilt. Bengalis are especially addicted to food and even if you think of North Indians, they think whether they get North Indian food while traveling or not. 4) A hygienic kitchen
I was a bit skeptical about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I have seen in many hotels and restaurants that cleanliness stays only on the outside, not inside. I requested the manager to give me a chance to enter the kitchen. I wanted to be sure whether it was safe staying there or having food in the pandemic situation. OMG! The kitchen was an extraordinary piece of teamwork. The trained chefs were managing everything so perfectly. It was really like a big food manufacturing unit. North Indian, South Indian, and even Bengali food were also getting prepared.
5) Even Bengali food could be served in Daspalla Executive Court
If one wants to have Bengali food he or she must inform them one day before, so that they could arrange all the ingredients to make authentic Bengali food. Bengali food has some typical spices to make those aromatic and perfect in taste. I was relieved to see that they don’t just make it a hurry to catch every other guest. They told us that ‘Please give us some time to make the perfect Bengali food for you. We can’t serve you a so-so dish which is neither Bengali nor anything else.’ I love that honesty.
6) In the Heart of Vizag
Most of the tourists in Vizag want to stay near the beach or railway station, but Daspalla group hotels are near the market area. So why people should choose it.

7) Check-in and Check-out timing
This hotel has a 24 hours check-in and check-out time. If you are coming here the night before, then you don’t have to pay for the full day’s room. Most of the flights from Kolkata to Vizag are at night. I feel this rule is beneficial for the tourists.
8) Friendly Hotel staff
The main difference between a hotel and a homestay is the friendliness of the staff. In a homestay, a tourist doesn’t need to compete with other people who are sharing the same hotel. In a homestay, you will always be cared and feel at home. Generally, two or three families could be accommodated in a homestay, so tourists always get attention.
In a hotel, you couldn’t get that attention, because there are so many different people. But to my surprise, I have found that Daspalla executive court is different than other hotels. They are very caring all time. When we went out for sightseeing, the packed our breakfast with proper care and sanitization. They tried to refrain us from having food from outside because of our safety during the pandemic. This is beyond my imagination. I couldn’t think how one hotel could be so much caring and well managed! We met Daspalla Executive Court’s General Manager Mr. Sanjib Karmakar, who was Bengali and a kind-hearted person. He was the key person behind the team. He was very jovial and generous enough to have lunch with us despite his very busy schedule.
