PLANTATION DRIVE AT KEOTSHA HIGH SCHOOL
Tree Plantation Drive at Keotsha High School, Machlandapur
We don't limit our concern for the environment to passionate social media posts on World Environment Day. Along with promoting nature tourism and spreading awareness about birds, butterflies, and biodiversity, we also actively participate in tree plantation drives throughout the year.
As part of the Facebook community Gachher Katha, the WildIndiaTravels team visited Keotsha High School in Machlandapur for another plantation program.
The enthusiasm of the students was truly inspiring. They participated wholeheartedly in the plantation activities, making the event both meaningful and memorable. The school authorities welcomed us warmly and made us feel completely at home.
At the end of the program, we accepted the school's invitation to share the students' mid-day meal, consisting of rice, lentils, eggs, and khichdi. It was the first time we experienced this simple yet delicious meal, sitting together with the children in the school. Sharing such an ordinary moment in a rural school created a genuine connection with the local community and reminded us that environmental conservation is ultimately about people as much as it is about nature.
