Nestled between the Karakoram and the Great Himalayan ranges, Ladakh is renowned for its dramatic mountain landscapes, pristine wetlands, remote villages, ancient Tibetan Buddhist culture, and extraordinary wildlife.

With elevations ranging from approximately 3,000 meters in Nubra Valley to over 5,300 meters at Khardung La Pass, Ladakh offers some of the finest opportunities for Himalayan birding, wildlife observation, landscape photography, and astrophotography in Asia.

This specially designed expedition covers the major birding hotspots of Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, Hanle, and Tso Kar, while also offering chances to encounter iconic Himalayan mammals and breathtaking Trans-Himalayan scenery.Altitude Range

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Leh & Acclimatisation

Arrival at Leh Airport and transfer to hotel.

Complete rest is recommended after arrival to assist proper acclimatization to the high altitude. During the afternoon, guests may take a relaxed walk around Leh Market for light acclimatization.

Our representative will arrange the required Inner Line Permits for the journey ahead.

Night Stay: Leh Hotel (Twin Sharing)

Day 2 – Sindhu Ghat, Shey Marshes & Leh Sightseeing

Morning birding session around Sindhu Ghat and the Shey Marshes wetland complex.
